K-X Blank LCD screen

Hi hope someone can help. My blue light comes on signalling power in the battery but no LCD screen. It was suggested to press the Info button and go through the auto pic and other settings but still nothing any suggestions? Thanks in advance

If you hold the menu button while powering up your camera, does the screen come on and display your firmware version #? If not, then it's likely that the LCD is busted and will need to be serviced
