REMOTE for KX

Is there a IR remote for the KX that operates in the following fashion? First press of button = AF, second press = shutter release. Norris

This is the compatible remote control:

There's a custom function to get it to AF before the shutter is released, but I don't think you can do it as a two-step process as you're describing.

+1 to what Adam said; I just tried it with the remote on my K-x. One push of the button gives AF then shutter.

REMOTE for KX

Will the aftermarket copies of the F remote control, work in the same fashion? Norris

I have the remote Adam linked and it's great with my K-x. I never noticed a two step process. I usually use the 3 second delay to reduce vibration and fire away, one push.

I would assume the aftermarket would work in the same way as the OEM; it has more to do with the camera than the remote imho.
