K-m Shutter Button blocked half pressed

Hi,

I have a problem with my Pentax K-m : the shutter button is constantly half pressed, so the af runs and we can take the photo.
But I can't access the menu with differents settings, the screen stays off because of the shutter button.
I'm trying to clean it, fruitless.
So I thought that I can access to debug menu, in the aim of change users data and allow AF with af button and not half pressed shutter button. But in debug mode, I don't see anything that could help.
Your opinion ?

I'm sorry if my english is bad

Thans

I don't think there's such a setting. There is a thread showing how to take the top off a K-m, though, so maybe you should try repairing the button yourself. If not, then there's always manual mode!

I'm okay with the manuel mode but the fact that we can't watch de photo after the shoot stay a problem.
I think take the top of the K-m and try to fix it.
Thank you for your help

fix it yourself

Here are some photos of a K200. It is similar to your camera. There is a screw that must be removed from the battery compartment.

If the button is stuck, you can free it up from the inside. If the switch has failed, you will need to order a new one from Pentax parts.
