Problem with my k-x using anything but auto. Everythings tinted blue (with pics)

Hi all,

I am so thankful I have a place like this to ask these kind of questions. Thank you in advance for any input.

So when my K-X is in anything but auto, I get this really blue tint to the photo, It is especially apparent in low lit photos. I have tried it in aperture priority and in manual. I even viewed my auto photo and set the camera with the same values in full manual, took the same photo, and I still have the same problem.

Here are a couple example shots I just snapped out back to show whats going on. Im pretty much a beginner but I feel that maybe I've missed something? A setting or something hopefully? Maybe it needs to go back for service. .

First pic: full auto:

second: in AV mode same ISO, same shutter, same aperture value:

This is a pretty good example, but I've noticed far worse "blue tint" on other photos.

Thank you.

Make sure you go into the menu and set the white balance to auto. It's probably set to fluorescent or something like that.
