sensor moves when in LV or in VIDEO mode

it is almost impossible to shoot when in LV or Video cause the sensor is jiggling once every second or faster sometimes. i can fix it with composition Adjustment with 2 to the left but i have to repeat when i change mode. any idea what that is?

I don't have video mode on my K20, but when using live view you can hear the sensor moving around, and the "jiggling" or jumping is (I think) the sensor shifting itself to "compensate" for the panning. When I turn off shake reduction, I see no jerky movement in live view, but as a drawback it gets shaky.
