It will work on your camera. I think there are some threads in the lens discussion forum here which discuss mirror lenses. They're tricky, but compact and if you learn how to use them they can be good.

It will work, but is definitely manual focus only.

Although you've asked a reasonable question, perhaps if you expanded it you might get some more suggestions? i.e. what sort of photography you do/want to do? why a 500mm? what's your budget?

It will work, but that is a very specialized lens. As noted , it is best to provide a little more information before asking that question. If you need a 500mm fixed aperture mirror lens, fine. If you need an inexpensive long telephoto there are much better choices. Take a look at this lens: SMC Pentax-FA 100-300mm F4.7-5.8 Reviews - FA Zoom Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

It is 100-300mm not 500mm but usually around $100us and much more versatile than a 500mm mirror.

All the information you've received so far is good, but I'll be more blunt: you're unlikely to be happy with a mirror lens. They have their uses, but as noted they are very specialized, and with particular drawbacks. On top of that there are general issues that arise when dealing with any lens of such a long focal length -- they are incredibly jittery to work with.
