Battery Charger

Hello:

I just put my battery in the charger, and the light blinked but won't stay on. Anyone have any idea why the charger would go bad all of a sudden? I think it's a DBC50 charger. Tks!

I don't think it's the charger that is broken, but the battery.
When was the last time you charged the battery?

If you left an empty battery in the camera for several months, you might discharge the battery too much, so it will not be possible to charge again.

last week. I have another baTtery; I will try it in the charger when I return. From trip. Thanks for response.
