K-5 II Issue with Photomatix

When I process a photo in Photomatix the picture has a thin, purple band along the right side of the photo. This never happened with my K-5. I used Raw PEF with my K-5 but I shoot in Raw DNG with my K-5 II. Could that be the problem? Does anyone have a solution? Right now, I have to crop the photo to get rid of the purple band. Also, the purple band is not on the raw file. It only appears after processing in Photomatix.

Lack of profile support for the camera, blame Photomatix for not having the update.

Are you taking it straight to Photomatix, or via an intermediate cataloging program? I've noticed exactly the same band appears with a DNG or PEF in Picasa.

I am taking it straight to photomatix. I don't use Picassa.

Then I guess VisualDarkness is correct - the two programs must lack adequate profiles for the K-5 series images, although you'd expect there shouldn't be an issue with DNG files in either case.

Never had this problem before. I just emailed Photomatix. I hope to get a response from them.

I guess that if camera makers actually started to use DNG I'm sure that most of the compatibility issues would be gone, but most of them don't want to change.

I used to shoot in PEF Raw but with the new K5 II, PEF files aren't compatible with everything yet. Just for kicks, I am going to shoot in PEF and send it right to Photomatix. See what happens.

Nope, just tried it and still have the fringing on the right side. Gonna go try taking a picture with my other camera: K5 and make sure there is nothing wrong with my software.

Definitely an issue with K5 II. Here are two photos, one with K5 (no banding), and one with K5 II (banding)

I have 4.2.0 Do you know where I can get the newest update? Maybe that would fix it.
