Model photography and lens rental...

I'm a senior in NY queens highschool. I just got plan to take photo of model in Feb. I gonna try my best with 2 flashes, K-5, and 16-50. Using 2 flashes is first time to me...

Both are YN560ex.

It should be cool. but I hope to use telephoto lens. I really want to use it when photographers used before.

Rental takes time and money. (Lonely --)

If I know someone around NY(Manhattan or queens ) I would like to rent it (if I can^^)

Do you happen to know the brands/models of the flashes? And the model of your camera?

I've used the 16-50 for a lot of model photography before I bought a 50-135 (now my most used lens). The 16-50 works great for full length or mid-length shots. I prefer a longer focal length for headshots (usually 100-135mm).

Some of my model work can be seen at the link in my signature line.

Lens-wise a DA*50-135 is a good choice.

But if you can buy an A or M100/2.8 it can give you very nice results as well. The last time my high-school daughter used it for a portraiture assignment in her photography class she refused to take it off the camera, even though I was trying to offer her the 50-135.
