Sd card problems

Hi forum mates,

Last week i wanted to put my photo's (all jpegs) from camera to computer.
Before i took pictures with this card i had it formatted in-camera.
While putting the card in the sd slot of the computer a message popped up,
saying this card needed to be formatted. Not possible to get acces to the photos.
Even putting it back in the camera gave the same massage. Is it still possible to
get the photos out of it or is all considered lost??

Regards mark

Obviously you have everyone stumped! I had a look around, and found this
It might be worth a try to insert the card into another camera and see what happens, one never knows!

Some cards just don't make nice with some card readers... try connecting the camera directly to the computer using the USB cable. Turn the camera on, and the computer should see it as an external drive.

I have to do this for my boss's Leica -- putting the SD card into a reader literally crashes the computer, but connecting by USB works flawlessly.

Thanks for your reaction,

I already format the sd card and try to download some program to recover the lost files. See if that works..

Cheers,
Mark
