need help choosing which film

I will be taking photos of a beach set, the city at night, and a boat marina at night.
I have velvia 100 ektar 100 and portra 160 and will be using a tripod so the film speed wont be an issue.
I havent used slide film yet so im eager to use the velvia but have read its not the best for night shots.
Any personal experience and thoughts would be helpful

Are you planning to follow a fully analog path with projecting your slides or printing your negatives? If you follow a hybrid analog/digital path you have options in post processing for all three of the films you listed.

I think I'd go with the Velvia then. I've had great luck with working with scans of Velvia 50. I've no idea of just how dark of night shots you're considering though.

The night shots would be of the city and boat marina so they shouldnt be too dark
Im leaning towards velvia too but just because im excited to see how it comes out
