How can I reverse the wheels on the K-30?

Good almost morning,

I am enjoying the K-30 and the wheel configuration is driving me nuts and I can't figure out how to switch the wheels on the K-30.

I want the rear wheel to adjust shutter and the from wheel my aperture.

Can someone please walk me through this.

I like having my index finger on the shutter and changing shutter speeds with my index finger slows down my shooting flow when I was at an event over the weekend.

Sincerely,
Cait

There should be an e-dial customization option in the setup menu. I can't remember off the top of my head where exactly it is, but it will definitely allow you to change the role of each wheel in each mode.

Everyone should use the e-dials the way I do, but for the crazy people who don't Pentax has options. On the K-30, use the [Rec. Mode 4] menu, then [E-Dial Programming]. It's on page 162 of the manual. Some customization is available on all the 2-dial cameras except maybe the *ist D.

@ Just1MoreDave - but it's good to be the crazy people. We are the ones who see the reality in the world around us and use our cameras to capture it.
