55.4 VS 100mm (macro)

I'm thinking to have a portrait lens. DA*55.4 is my best choice to me but 100mm macro also good lens to me.

Which one should I choose for portrait pic?

Which lens to use depends on the distance to the subject and on how much you want in the frame: head only, head and shoulders, the upper body, etc. There is no general answer.

Check out our image database and see what other users use - that may give some idea regading what yould fit what you have in mind:

these two lenses are so different that easily can coexist in any bag without question that one of them is to much in gear.
Strictly for portrait work 55 is better in my opinion.
