Manual Focus w/ 18-135 zoom?

So shooting with my K5 set to manual focus, I can't seem to figure out what to 'turn' to manually focus my 18-135 zoom lens? Any advice?

The focus and zoom rings seem to be reversed from other Pentax lenses. The focus ring is close to the camera, a very small ring compared to the zoom ring.

Going from manual focus lens to auto focus lens, the narrow focus ring at the front of the lens was one of those retraining things for myself. It's not bad when I'm tweaking focus manually and have time to think, but when I'm running on reflexes, I still find myself hunting for that dang little focus ring.

However, I have also come to the realization that I don't want a wider manual focusing ring on my auto focus lenses. As it is I think my hand is totally in a safe area cradling the lens only to feel the camera trying to turn the focus ring against an errantly placed finger.
