Couple of Newbie questions

1-Can you use an older Pentx Flash ( for film camera) on a digital Pentax?
2- How do you find out how many shutter activations does your camera had performed?

1. Yes, in manual mode only

If it's a very old flash, make sure it has a "safe" trigger voltage for use on a modern camera. Some older flashes can fry your camera. Here's a good reference:

+1, what he said, I just can't type quick enough or find the thread soon enough, to be able to answer the questions that I do know the answer for and trust me, that's precious few.
