K5 LCD screen pixelates

When reviewing shots taken on my K5 the LCD screen will show areas of pixelating, that is areas where the colors break down and flash with different colors. It usually happens more frequently in areas of brightness, sky or lights. Doesn't affect downloaded images just the LCD screen. Anyone?

What you said- it highlights over/under-exposed areas. This can be disabled in the menu, and I believe the option is called something along the lines of "show bright and dark areas".
