Any help will be appreciated..

I believe this lens was made in various mounts. If it is a K-mount then yes, it will work. You will not have automatic aperture so you will have to use the ring on the lens itself. It should lock right on just like any other K-mount. If it does not seem to line up the same, it is for another mount. Just try it (but don't force it!). I have never used this lense so please tell us how you like it!

Is it this one?: Tokina ATX 525 50-250 mm f/4-5.6 Lens Reviews - Tokina Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
As noted above Tokina has made lenses in a number of mounts. If it is k-mount it should fit, if not then it won't.

Ohhh theres one difference, on the silver ring where the red dot is the are two black buttons. when depressed it moves a little tab like thing on the base where it would fit to the camera... Sorry thats properly not the best description....

Probably have a copy in another mount then. That is too bad. Don't worry about it though; there are plenty more lenses out there and you are not really out of anything. Do you have any other lenses at the moment?

The Pentax DA 50-200mm WR lens should fit your need. It's not too expensive as new or used and it's also weather resistant so it will work great with your K-30.
If you want even more range the Pentax DA 55-300mm is also a good option. But that lens is not WR.

My 2 cents.

The DA55-300 is generally a better lens than the DA50-200, with better overall Image Quality.

The DA18-135 is also a good all-around lens.

If you want to go straight for the better IQ, and can afford it, get the DA*50-135. You'll want to buy a used one to get a decent price, though.

Solid advice. The DA*50-135mm is an awesome lens. It is pricey though and I would probably hold off if you do not anticipate a need for that caliber of lens anytime soon. The 55-300mm is a considerably better lens in my opinion when compared to the 50-200. If you are happy with the 18-55mm you have, and want longer range, the 55-300mm is probably going to make you happy. If you want just one lens and do not usually shoot at the longer telephoto end, the 18-135mm is a better choice. It also depends how much you plan on shooting in rain or the like.

I got into a snit when my 50-135 autofocus gave up the ghost for the third time, and now use the 55-300. It isn't optically anywhere near the 50-135, but it is certainly adequate for non professional use. I'm enjoying it.

If you post a photo of the mount somebody will be able to identify it... Then you can wack it on ebay and use the cash from its sale for a K-mount lens...

From the description (two buttons on the silver ring) it sounds like Olympus OM...

Nearly all of the lenses that fit k-mount and many of the M42 mount lenses are listed in the Lens Review sections. Look under the "lens" tab at the top of the page.

Sigma has made several different 18-200 lenses and they are listed in the review section. You should get in the habit of using the full description of a lens if you want advice because '18-200' just does not really tell us which lens. For example you can say "Pentax 28-70" there are two of those, one costs about $75 the other costs about $1,500. See what I mean?

And just FYI 18-200 would be more of a 'travel zoom' or 'all around' lens rather than 'kit lens'. The term kit lens usually means the relatively cheap lens sold with the camera. So by definition the Sigma could not be a kit lens unless purchased with a Sigma camera.

And if all of that sounds a bit picky, well the info you get back is only as good as the question asked, just trying to make sure you get the right info.
