Starting to worry that my K5 is messed up

I posted in another area about my K5 not being recognized by my Windows 8 laptop and tablet. I also have this quirky problem but not sure if the camera was designed like this or if there is some setting that I have on. When I hit the play button to review a picture, if i move the camera around, it will automatically switch back to the shooting mode. I am not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but this along with not being able to connect to my computer is starting to make me worried.

Not connecting to the computer could be a million things, so hard to say, but the second thing about it going back to shooting mode is definitely not right. So you are saying that if you hit play and are looking at an image (not instant review of an image you just took a second ago, but just any image on the card), and then you move/shake the camera around WITHOUT pressing any other button (take your finger off the shutter button, that will trip it back) and it goes back to shooting mode, that's a real problem. But double-check you aren't just resting your finger on the shutter...

First of all use card reader, will save you battery K5 live for sure. Win 8 may not have dll files for recognizing K5 as camera.
Second if you have battery grip you will hit shutter button on it from time to time when you review shots.

Holly god! Ok no Homo here but I would hug you if I could hahaha. I just took a test snap, and shook my camera all around and I realized that I was doing just what you were saying, I was hitting the shutter on the battery grip! Jesus I feel so stupid, such a newb move haha!
