Originally posted by neiliosis I recently purchased a Pentax K-01 and assortment of old SLR manual lenses. For some lenses, like my Pentax 50mm f1.7, the LCD is clear and responsive. However, for other lenses like a Vivitar 35-70mm, the LCD is grainy and kind of lags. The graininess and slowness make it very difficult to focus even with focus peaking.
If the camera has to boost the ISO to brighten the LV image, things might start getting slow because of the processing involved.
