k1000 vs k30

im thinking of switching over to the k30 from my k1000. i was wondering if i can get a good compassion review about the two cameras.

Are you serious ? or you did a typo and meant K100D ?

well in this case, the K-30 is from the future so I'd definitely recommend it !

In case you meant k100d, the K30 is still a massive upgrade. You're looking at a product that's 6 years newer.

I haven't seen any reviews of how to load the film in the K30. I know how to do it with my K1000 but...

i was meaning more like the difference in weight and would it still preform as fast as my K1000 and is there an image delay, and how fast would i be able to shoot the next picture instead of waiting for it to save to memory. that kinda thing. and the pentax gear page says its a beginner to intermediate level camera. im inbetween the beginner and intermediate

We still have an identification problem. The K1000 is a film camera. You can find a comparison of the (I'm assuming) K100D and the K-30 in the Cameras menu above.

i was hoping there was a thing on the K1000 on the comparison page but when i looked it was all digital cameras otherwise i would have all i need already
