Debug menu on KX

Hi folks.
I have a selection of lenses for my K x and I am getting inconsistent focusing, I understand that there is a procedure where I can format a range of lenses to the camera but do not know where to start. Do I have to download something, and will it work on a mac.
I have just installed the firmware update 1.03 (with the help of my son)
Has anyone actually done this and did it make a difference?

Thanks in advance

Steve

AFAIK even in the debug menu the K-x doesn't support per-lens adjustments. You will need a newer camera.

The procedure itself is described here:

As Adam mentioned, while you can access the DEBUG menu option within the K-x to make AF adjustments, any changes will apply across every lens you mount, not just on a per-lens basis.

If this is still useful to you, there is a tutorial for doing the K-x DEBUG menu adjustment here. There are also lots of threads in this forum about the issue that you may like to explore.

Although I haven't tested it on my K-x, perhaps the easiest way to call up the DEBUG menu may be via the options in the PKTether program, once you have connected your camera to a computer via a USB cable.

EDIT: altopiet beat me to the RH link.
