Need a wireless shutter and flash trigger recommendation

Can anyone recommend a low cost and reliable wireless remote product that I can use with my K-30. I have looked at the Apurture Plus II and Yongnuo RF603 but don't know if they will work on the k30.

If they are universal then they will work.
So yes they work those two.

You can only use the flash in manual mode with triggers btw.

It is my understnading that the Yongnuo RF603 is not compatible with the K-30 but the RF602 is. You might want to run a search on that in these forums. In addition, see this thread: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-k-5/216481-yongnuo-yn-560-iii-flas...uying-not.html

Be careful the k30 is a odd beast, it does not work with some accesories that work with every other digital pentax inc k 5 variants.
Apurture kit works with both

I recommend the Cactus V5.

If you go for one of the Yongnuo make sure you've got the right model. There is no Pentax-specific version and IIRC, you need the Nikon version, otherwise you'll have to resort to half-press tricks to get up to 1/180 sync-speed.

Thanks All

Just wanted to let those who are interested in a decent wireless flash and shutter trigger, that I purchased the Apurture Plus II Model TXII works awesome on the K-30. However, you will need to purchase separately the PC remote cable release that have the same size jack that fits the camera and trigger ($10). The cables included don't work with the K30. The remote shutter works great as well as the off camera flash.

Thanks for the information Divers. I will add that to my list (Yongnuo and Cactus V). From where did you purchase the Apurture Plus I? Did you get only one set?

Purchase off ebay from New York. It is a two remote combo or $118.
