Yes indeed. That third contact should be to the right, where it looks like it should be. Wonder how that broke ....

guy i bought it fae said he lent it to someone goin on holiday and got it bk like that maybe tried to force battery in wrong way or something cant think of any other way it would snap you cant even get your fingers in there

Yeah, that battery compartment is really tight. Can't see how you are going to fix this without taking it apart and possibly destroying it.

Such a shame as the X-90 is a fun little camera. FWIW, a new X-5 is around $200 in the US.
