Yashinon DX 135mm

I have a nice Yashinon DX 135mm f2.8 that I currently use with my macro bellows. It has two aperture rings and although I can adjust things okay, I'm a little puzzled regarding the "why". I Googled a couple different ways but found no enlightenment. Can anyone help please?

Thank you

Two aperture rings means this is a 'preset' type of lens. You use it by setting the actual aperture ring to the aperture you want, the other ring is left wide open as you focus so you get the maximum amount of light in to focus by. Once you have your focus you turn the ring to 'stop down' to where the preset ring is at. This was all before cameras could hold open the aperture until the shutter button was pressed. Actually works quite well for some things, I have a 50mm f/4 Macro Takumar that works this way and is rather handy.

Except that the Yashinon-DX is NOT a preset, and doesn't have two rings. (Maybe it is the Yashinon 60mm 2.8 macro lens? That is a preset -- and a fantastic lens.)

So kinda would like to see a picture of it...

Ah...a "Super" DX instead of an "Auto" DX. I didn't know such a thing existed in the DX lineup. All of the Supers I've seen are called "Super Yashinon-R" I think. And yes that is indeed a preset aperture.
