Pentax 645D

Well I took pics for Many years since I was an elementary. I really waiting for FF in near future but I'm sure that they won't show it cause they might take lot of time to make lens and body. I hope that they show FF in 5 years. Is there any pro and con for buying 645D in college year??

Pro: fantastic camera, bragging rights on campus, more mega pixels than D800, certainly will keep you going until a FF is released.

Con: $10,000 usd price tag

The 645D is big and heavy, and therefore not really an alternative to a FF unless you don't mind the smaller lens selection and primarily shoot landscape/studio shots.

As for the IQ, it's still really good. You can learn more about the 645D here: Nikon D800E vs. Pentax 645D - Introduction - PentaxForums.com

The price has been reduced to $6999, but yeah, still expensive.
