Super Albinar 2x tele converter?

I have a Super Albinar 2x tele converter, it does not have any of the connector points - can I use it on my DA 55-300 without causing any damage to the K30 or lens? I know it will have to be used in the manual mode but don't want to mess up the camera or lens. Thanks for any help.

It won't hurt anything, but it won't work well. That lens would only be able to be used at the smallest aperture because the DA lenses don't have an aperture ring.

Honestly, the best use of a teleconverter like that one is to remove the glass from it and use it as an extension tube for macro shooting with a manual prime on it.

Thank you for the information. I will try it on the manual prime lens I have.
