In case you decide to buy an auto exposure, but manual focus camera, I would suggest not to use an autofocus lens like one of the F and FA series.

They usually have a very short focus throw und nearly no damping, to make autofocus faster. But to focus manually with these lenses is sometimes a bit frustrating. Also the focus ring is usually much smaller. Optically, the 50mm F and FA prime lenses are not better than the K, M, and A lenses.
