Maybe your camera offsets the color shift that you see through your viewfinder?

Might be a stupid question but does any of the pins on the lens control the colours thanks once again

I had the 400/5.6 Sigma APO manual focus KA mount and there was no colour shift in the viewfinder. Great lens wish I hadn't sold it.

When you say hazy and yellow, is this in live view or through the optical view finder?

Could you post an example and exif data?

Does the camera prompt for focal length?

FYI all but the furthest pin from the lens locking pin are used for aperture coding, the last pin is for AF and data

You might want to check also focus adjustment but first lets see the issue and exif data

Click on this link and upload a file using the browse/upload buttons

http://regex.info/exif.cgi

Edit: Sorry, to get the exif onto the forum upload a pic here and then we can use the exif tool to see it. Not sure that exif will provide anything as the pictures are fine just the viewfinder is skewed. Do you have any other f5.6 minimum lenses that you can put on and look at - the darkened viewfinder may be mistaken for yellowing???: Maybe??
