Lens - Dodgy Contacts?

Hi, I have a K5 and my 18-135 zoom (Pentax) sometimes 'won't work'. I'll be using it quite happily and then the camera displays go 'blank' (e.g. aperture). If I put some pressure on the lens clockwise (from the back) all the lens settings come back and it works fine. Suggests something in the contacts to me but I have never experienced this with any Pentax since my first in 1976 including my last K100D. This problem has started only recently. Anyone got any advice?

Richard

It could be contacts and mount. Check to make sure the contacts are clean, both on lens and camera. And make sure the mounts are not wobbly
Does this happen with any other lens? You should test that, to see if its the lens or the camera's fault
