Live view

Can I get this through my k-m by attaching a USB cable to my laptop, or do I just capture the pic;s already taken?
Is there another way?

Have a look at the manual.
The K-m doesn't offer live view.
With the K200D (the K-m is a stripped down K200D) you could use the free program PKTether. But it is far from real live view. Whether PKTether will work also with the K-m, I don't know.

EDIT:
There are many old threads about how to use PKTether with the K200D.

Many thanks, saved me the price of a cable, wasn't going to rely on it, but thought it might add to my astrophotography efforts.
