Macro front focusing K-30 kit lens.

Ive been banging my head over this trying to get the auto focus to be consistent with my K-30. maybe its the lens IDK , Getting a little frustrated.
Ok so i do a lot of Up-close photography, i notice that in MACRO zone my 18-55mm front focuses a bit, about 5 steps in the adjustment.
However if i adjust it for the macro work , it will back focus a bit at normal distances , say like a focal point of 2 feet to infinity.
If i try to focus manually in macro ,, the results are way off even with the diopter adjusted. In live mode it yields a slightly soft image no matter what the focal point. ( i have done a lot of pixel peeping)

There may not be an answer to this, it may simple be that im fretting over hairs.
