Your advice, please.

I may be getting a few extra bucks soon, enough for some new gear. I have:
Pentax K-r
Rokinon 8mm
Pentax DAL 18-55
Pentax A 28 F2.8
Pentax F 35-70 macro
Pentax M 50 F2
Pentax A 50 F2
Sears 50 F1.7
Sears 50 F1.4
Sigma 70-300 DL macro
Pentax FA 100 3.5 macro
Pentax F 100-300
Takumar 135 F2.5
Super-Takumar 200 F4

I'm thinking either a Sigma 150-500 or a Tamron 200-500 and a K-3 but the Black Friday price on the K-5II looks really good. I'm strictly amateur. I lean towards night landscapes and animals, mostly birds. I photograph almost anything but not a lot of people or architecture. So is the K-5 a better bargain at the price? and is there a significant difference between the Sigma and the Tammy? Thanks for your input and wisdom!

I thought the 200-500mm wasn't available for Pentax (the AF version at least).

Honestly, I'd go for the K-5 II for $599 for now, and maybe add the lens later. At this price the body is a steal, and you'll enjoy better build quality and better image quality.

For low-light shooting, the II series and K-3 will really help with the new -3EV focus and f/2.8-sensitive point(s).
I'm not addicted to long lenses, so I can't help there. My dad-in-law gave me a 400mm Hanimar and it's received little use even as a freebie (+$10 T-PK adapter)!

The sigma 150-500 performs decent with good light and has OS which is absolutely awesome for longer focal lengths because it not only stabilises your lens but also the image in the viewfinder.
If money is no concern then I would suggest the K3, OTOH I`ve done some great things with the siggy and my K5 classic and the K5II is better in the AF department: Sigma 150-500 DG F5-6.3 APO HSM (OS) - a set on Flickr

Like Adam says, the tamron is not availeble in K-mount.

Thanks for the input, everyone. The Tamron probably isn't available Pentax (I'd just assumed that it was.) I have pretty much the all the focal lengths covered, I'd just like a little longer reach for some of the situations I run into. If I sell the car, I could afford both the K-3 and the Sigma. Or the K-5, the Sigma and an OGPS. I was just taken by the cost of the K-5 and wondered if the K-3 was worth the extra bucks given my style of shooting. I suppose it all hinges on whether I actually sell the car. Thanks again!

Thanks for the input, everyone. I just got my order confirmation for the K-5. A review of the specs for each and given my style of photography, I decided the K-5 was a better fit and I couldn't pass on the price. With a little luck it will be here in time to give it a shakedown of the Geminids.
