New K5 making noise (sound)

Hello,

I got a new K5 and noticed it makes noise when the LCD is on. It sounds like a hard drive reading/writing combined with some kind of gearing. I can't tell what it is, and if its normal or not. I narrowed it down to it only making this noise when the LCD is on. It doesn't do it when its off. It's not very audible normally and can only hear it if your ear is pressed on the body. But what caught my attention was after a few minutes of playing with it, that same sound got louder. Not VERY loud but loud enough to be audible in a room with people conversing and a TV on.

Is this normal? I've been scouring the net for it and cannot find anything similar to this situation for the K5. Should I get it exchanged? (Side note, for some reason this K5 came with a Croatian user guide. Was also purchased on Amazon as I couldn't find anyone selling it on B&H and etc anymore.)

Thanks for your help.

Dave

That's normal (in-body shake reduction).

Ahh...no, I don't think that is the normal image stabilization sound based on how you described the scenario.

If you're in live view, it should be faint but audible. If you're in doubt, post a video of it and we'll take a look!
