vivitar 400mm 5.6 need help Finding adapter

hi greetings to all.I need help finding adapter for my vivitat 400mm 5.6 lense I have some photos of the lense.

the lense came with TX to M/MD adapter but i need canon EF/EOS adapter

there are some image of the adapter only so do not get confuse BACK OF THE LENSE READS TX

I don't know if there's an adapter that will work with the TX mount, but I have seen that people use MD lenses on new Canons, so maybe just look on Ebay for an MD - EOS adapter?

on my OP i was looking for TX TO EOS but i searched Google but nothing came up.
so on different forum i read that if i buy TX TO M42 and than use M42 to EOS (which i have already)

by the thanks for the link i was just wondering its a M42 Threads to TX Mount since i m looking 4 TX TO M42 mount does it matter?

That's the same mount I have on my Vivitar 200mm, the mount adapter fits the part you already have, the lens, and has M42 threads on the camera end. Works the same as any M42 lens, and you can get adapters for several different lens mounts. You might also be able to find a TX to PK mount for Pentax. I think I looked one up a while back but since M42 was working fine I didn't worry about it. It was made so they could make one lens and a number of adapters, rather than designing lenses with PK, MD, Olympus, Nikon, Canon and so forth standard bayonet mounts. One lens, several adapters instead of designing 10 lenses. Look around, you might be able to find adapters for any camera you want to use it on.

I think it's also called T4 but not positive.

I have a TX->m42 and a TX->PK (I'm selling them, btw), so those exist. TX probably pre-dates EF -- I have seen them with FD mounts...

I'm curious as to why you don't keep the adapter that's on it now, and get an adapter that will allow it to be mounted on the EOS body?
