Source for plastic bump on Pentax-A/M lens barrels?

Hello Pentaxians,

I'm considering buying a Pentax-M lens, but it is missing the white plastic bump on its lens barrel. I have found that these are quite useful for gripping the lens when installing or removing it from a mount.

This photo shows the bump here in case my description is not clear (the one in this photo is yellowish):

Does anybody know of a source for obtaining replacement bumps - original Pentax items or something similar?

Cheers,

Tom

Leica & Pentax & Nikon | Leitax has some red Leica ones. Pretty sure it'd function more or less the same. (Albeit, 3 Euros seems a tad steep)

I don't know if you can find one for Pentax but arts and crafts stores (such as Michael's in the US) sell little plastic beads in many colors and sizes. These were perfect replacements for the red bump on Minolta lenses.

The white bump has another practical purpose.

It lines up with the lens unlocking button for blind lens install. Anyone with a history of LBA has extras. Strangely the kit lens for the MX, the pancake 40, does not have one.

Thank you all for the great leads and other replies! This sounds like a very solvable problem.

I like the craft store option. I wonder what color bead would look good on my Zenitar fisheye?

Shouldn't hard to sculpt your own out of marine epoxy if nothing else works.

A dot of fairly thick two part adhesive, like Araldite might work.
On another note, the way that 50mm f1.2 has been treated should be a criminal offence. "The barrel shows signs of wear" is the understatement of the century.
