K3 live view noise question

When I use the monitor to shot an image I hear a small humming noise. What is this? When I switch the monitor off the noise stops.

Any thoughts?

Shake reduction; when you use live view it is running. Move the camera around while using a long lens, and you'll REALLY hear it.

Matt, thanks for the reply. I have never had a camera with this feature built into the body. Very cool.

It threw me off when I went from my K10 to K5, too.
Keep that in mind when you shoot a video using the onboard mic...
