Looks like you opted in to the Flickr beta test version. There are numerous reports of issues with it including the inability to get a BB code link. Most posts I have seen recommend going back to the 'old' version if you need that functionality. I have never opted in to the 'new' version so no idea how to get you back out. Search for "flickr BB code" to see what I mean.

Do you have plugins for flickr installed or is this the development version? Never seen flickr like in your screenshot.
No, I'm using Ubuntu (Linux) and Firefox browser.

I switched over to Google Chromium browser and it looks the same [see screenshot]

Yeah, my Flickr looks totally different... I was asked if I wanted to try the new beta and declined, looks like maybe that's what you're using?

What happens if you click on the "Opt out and Feedback" in the bottom left? (assuming that's for Flickr and not another program you've got up and running.)

In the version I have, which I assume is the one that most others have, it is very simple...

And you just paste the BB Code into your forum post and submit it and it should come up.

On the picture you want share, there is an icon (share, arrow out),
click on it,
click on the Grab the HTML/BBCode line,
click on the BBCode,
select the size from the pull down menu under the code box (S, M or L)
Now copy the code from box (lots of selectable texts)
paste those code here in your post.
you are done.

I think you're right. I searched it and lots of people can't get the BB code to work with the Flickr beta running. I don't even recall opting in to the beta. Now I have to try to figure out how to get back to the old version. Why they would leave this feature out of their beta I do not understand.

ok, I clicked on opt out at bottom left (of any image) and now I can get to the bbcode. Here goes my 3rd test:

To get back to the old version just click on any of your photos.
At the bottom left is a white box saying "opt out and feedback"
Click this and then click "go back to the old experience"

That's it

For the Beta version
On the picture you want share, there is an icon (share, arrow out),
click on it,
Now you will see all the icons for different social media, the last one (bottom right corner) is a pin (icon)
click on on it
A new line with selectable text appears along with a pull down menu for size
Choose your size (L), copy the text
paste those code here in your post.
you are done.

Thumbs down on the beta version.

But... but... a way huge high thumbs up on the shots you posted! That was worth the effort! I always enjoy seeing stop motion shots of water like that.

This method works for me..........

On Flickr, click on the pink box with the arrow emerging from it. Select the image size that you require. Select the BBcode button & copy the text in the box. Return to this forum & paste into the posting box.

Also, if you select 'Advanced post' ,you will be able to preview what your post looks like, before it appears on the forum pages...........

It works for me, there may be easier ways.
