That is the reason my list of lenses and bodies is only one page long.
I am how ever drooling over another lens at this moment. Since I have had my newest lens all of 2 days I may need to think hard about it, But boy do I want a true Macro prime

None taken, I just wondered if it were me, you were thinking of.

You mean other folk don't name lenses... oh just me then.

No LBA here:
- checking no more than 3 online markets daily (ok, maybe 4)
- not naming my lenses
- just 4 fifties in my inventory - the 55 and 58 don't count, right?

Nope, far from suffering from LBA

Nice setup! There are plenty of 'vintage' lenses out there waiting for you. Welcome to the 'slope.'

link81, I think you're safe with your latest Vivitar macro... it's not a 50.

LBA is really defined by the number of web sites or online markets you check daily (or hourly) plus the number of local shops per week. I think I'm at four web sites daily and two local shops weekly. Did I just say that? uh oh, I better seek help. "Just goin' out for some milk, hon. Be back in an hour."

On second thought, I think I'll expand my area of Craigslist coverage to include upper State New York (the border is a 54-minute drive from my house).

C'mon now, folks, 'fess up.

I only have one 50 mm, but my key lenses all have female names, i.e. my SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2 is my "Special Lady"

My first was the M. An older lady gave it to me, and I promised to take care of it for her. The others followed after, most had issues that I took the lens apart and cla'd it in my basement. So my major investment in them is time, not money.

All those 50's and no "Special Lady" amongst them.

There must a little room left in your heart for her.
