pdo, please go ahead and send it to my USA address. It'll be available to send out again in late October when I've returned. I'll private message you shortly.

Would it be possible to have him send it to me to keep the chain going? I would like to give it a try. Thanks.

Mike, I just PM'd pdo last night, but PM'd him this morning about your request. You should be able to get it.

How do you like your K3? Did you work with the K5 or K5 ii beforehand?

Sorry for the late reply. I did not notice your message. I love the K-3. The only negative for me is that it is noticeably larger and heavier the the k5 series. I had both the K5 and the K5 iis before the K3. It is a definite improvement in focusing and layout but the IIs was very close in output, often better at high iso (subjective judgment, of course). I have the Flucard but do not find it particularly useful for my photography. I recently reacquired a k5 as a backup and I am pleased that its output is as nice as I remember.

Mike,

Thank you for the response on the K3. I'm really liking my K5 ii with the DA* 55mm attached. The 20-40mm does pretty well, but I'm looking forward to the Sigma 18-35 when I can.

I'll not worry about another camera body for a while then. Even then, the K5 ii will be a great second body. I'm really liking it and very happy I went this route than the K-30 or K-50.

I'm back in the US for a couple of months. Anyone know where my Calibration kit is? I've forgotten.

If it is still an option I'm interested in going on the list.

It would be interesting to know what others results have been and see some sample photos from this experiment. I've toyed with buying one for a while - this may push me over the edge after I get a chance to use one in person.

@bradshea, my improvements have been minor, but helpful. I'm considering to have my camera body and two main lenses sent off for formal tuning as I'm not getting the crispness I think I should. Then again, I'll try to find someplace that knows more than I do. Also, I've come to realize that a few passes as using the guide and shooting in between helps with the fine tuning.

I now have the Sigma 18-35 f1.8 and the USB dock. I'm lost for tuning that puppy on my K-5 ii.

Good luck!
