DIY question

Hi there!
Just i would like to know if Is there any way to make a shutter release cable for a K-7?

Thakns for your help

Of course, it is just a simple switch and the connector a standard 2.5mm stereo headset plug. Though, as cheap as the third party ones are it is not worth it unless you're wanting to do something special.

Double-check the plug size. My K200D and K-5 use the smaller plug (not the one that fits your iPod). I scavenged one from some ear-buds for an old cell-phone and made a remote trigger that is either momentary or latched (Bulb mode). I did it because I had parts lying around, not because I could make a cheaper or better one (in both cases I would have been better off buying a cheapie...).

I used the above link and a box and parts from Radio Shack. Works great.

nosliwmit, you mean the 2.5mm plug, right?
