K-3 creak in the handle grip

So, the other day i adjusted the camera very with my hand, just like as i was having a big tele to support.
Then i discovered a little creak sound right below the IR sensor, where my pinky rests.

Is it safe to continue using it?

It doesn't seem to move, or maybe it's unnoticeable. Also it didn't alter the functioning even after getting it soaked.
I'm only worried for the weather sealing.
Also, i live in Bolivia so i can't easily send it to the US for Service, maybe in some months when i get someone who's traveling there.

My K-5 II also creaked at least once. My copy at least doesn't seem to fit together all that well...

I had the issue on my K-30.
Was concerned that since it was creaking and obviously not well-put together in that place, that weather-sealing may fail.
Sent it in under warranty and CRIS fixed it. Never a creak since.

The left arrow on the four-way controller of my K30 squeaks when I press it, but I'm not worried about it, personally. It's been squeaking since I got it, going on a year.

This doesn't help you in any way, but at least you know you're not alone!

well, it seems like one screw of the side panel is a bit loose, when i presss it the creak stops.
once again i ran the camera under the water pipe and nothing happened, the rubber seal must be still making pressure.
when i find someone going to the US i'll send the camera to CRIS to make them fix it.

So in conclusion, i guess i can live with it meanwhile!
