Trouble changing aperture on k30

Hi guys I have a new k30 and it seems when I have the setting on Av and want to change my aperture up or down, I constantly have trouble getting it to recognize that I'm trying to move it. It may work once or twice them not again. I have to get out of the Av setting then back into ur to work again. Is this normal? It's super annoying and going there is a quick answer. Thanks in advance. Ps. Just learning

Hi, and welcome to the forums, Shonnee! You mean you turn your back dial on the camera and the aperture doesn't change? I just want to be sure I understand the problem. If that is in fact what's happening, does the dial work fine in Tv mode (the shutter speed changes as you turn the dial)? Or are you changing the aperture on the lens itself?

If you have instant review enabled, you can't change the aperture while the image is being displayed. Exit out of it first, or disable it completely.

Hi again thanks for your suggestions. I am trying to change the dial (not the lens) and it only works once then not again. The dial itself isn't sticky though it's fine but doesn't respond to me changing the aperture more than once.
I just checked the front dial on shutter mode and it works fine, only an Av problem.

Just Disable instant view and unfortunetly it didn't fix the problem. Still one letting me change the aperture once until I get out of this setting.

Bugger doesn't seem to cover my problem. Tried using a different lens but still has the same problem. May be a warranty issue
