Im seeing a glow along the edge this is typical of lens aberrations.


I would suggest other posters are right, your working beyond the capabilities of the kit lens.


I stopped using kit lenses long ago for these kinds of reasons.


How to eliminate it? use the lens stopped down more or use a different lens.


If im right you can recreate this easily using that lens on those settings under similar lighting.


If it is aberrations you know what to do.
