hotshoe Flash

Hi all,
I have pentax k30 and yongnuo yn500iii flash.
when i adjust the camera 1/180 and below shutter speed, hotshoe flash trigger
but when i go above 1/180 flash doesnt trigger,

What is the problem? can it be fixed anyway?

Working as designed. Flash sync speed for Pentax is 1/180 second.

Any faster and the flash will not fire.

...Unless you have a Pentax P-TTL capable flash that supports high speed sync (HSS). In that case it will allow higher speeds. Otherwise, 1/180s is your ceiling.
