The various 50mm f/2 K-mount Rikenons are pretty common. You would have little to lose with an attempted repair since a replacement would be easy to come by and inexpensive.
There are five variants that I am aware of:
- XR Rikenon (metal build)
- Rikenon S (plastic)
- Rikenon (metal)
- Rikenon (plastic)
- Rikenon P (plastic)
I have two copies of the XR Rikenon 50/2 and one of the Rikenon P 50/2*. All three are quite sharp and all three suffer from somewhat "busy" bokeh at moderate apertures. I use them primarily for film photography.

* My Rikenon P has the benign "ball-type" version of the dreaded Ricoh pin. Other, more dangerous versions of the lens may be out there. Be aware before attempting to mount any P-series Rikenon to any Pentax auto-focus body.
