Tamron lens.... does it have the Ricoh pin?

On the way into town this morning, I stopped at a yard sale and found a Pentax ZX-5n film camera with a Tamron lens that has the following on the front of it: "Tamron, AF, Aspherical, XR, (if), 28-200mm, 1:3.8-5.6, Macro." I bought both the camera & lens for $15.00. Both appear as new. After having gone through the nightmare of the dreaded Ricoh pin incident this week, I'm very leery of attaching it to my K2000. I looked and it doesn't appear to have the pin, but I thought I'd ask the experts. Am I safe? Was it a good deal? Opinions of the lens?

Again, I'm not sure this is the proper place to be asking this question. If not, my apologies, but it did said, "Beginners Q&A."

It doesn't have a Ricoh pin. I think this only applies to manual focus lenses anyway.

My daughter owns this lens. No Ricoh Pin.

...or, you could simply compare the mount of your known "pinned" lens with the lens you are concerned about. The pin is always in the same position.

Yep.... no pin. Tried some shots with it and I'm very pleased. My contrast and saturation problems aren't apparent with this lens. Seems much sharper than my kit lenses. A good find for $15.00, I think.
