Will a SMC PENTAX-A 645 1:2.8, 75mm lens fit on a K2000 Pentax camera body? Sorry if this should be posted somewhere else, but I did a search and finally gave up.

You'll need a 645 to K-mount adapter.

If you already have the lens maybe.

If not I think there k mount lenses that would be more practical.

645 lenses are generally good quality, however, they are not going to give you any better image quality than a regular k-mount lens. There are threads about this here. @jatrax - has it correct.
