K-30 shutter won't release

I've had my K30 for over a year now and haven't had any other issues, but a few days ago I started having issues with the shutter release. It'll only work if I have it set to SCN -> Moving Object. Any other setting, it just doesn't take the photo. I've tried turning it off and on, taking out the battery, recharging the battery. I'm not really sure what the problem is; any suggestions?

How many photos have you taken with it?

It could be an af issue. Does the shutter release work in manual focus mode?

stillshot2 - Easily into the thousands, but I have no idea of a specific number.

Adam - Yes, it works in either manual focus or automatic focus, but only if I have it set to moving objects. Neither focus mode works on any other setting.
