Reversal ring mounts the lens on the camera backwards.
Coupling ring joins two lenses together, second one reversed.

The best reversing ring I found was a legacy kiron one off ebay. But the cheap ones work OK by and large..

There is not much that can go wrong with reversing rings or couplers - just about any brand will do. I have seen one (out of dozens) that required scraping excess paint out of the threads before it would mount easily. It had no markings so I assume it was a generic Chinese part...

I've not seen any complaints about the quality of any 3rd party reverse adapter. You can always hold out and try to find an original Pentax ring if it concerns you that much. The CAD/CAM/CNC templates for K-mounts are readily available and lens filter thread pitch are fairly standard so it doesn't take a lot to machine these. And the mount on the camera has a good amount of tolerance engineered into it (spring tensioners, etc.).

I got a couple from Adorama (Flashpoint), Don't remember what I paid, but it wasn't much, they work as expected. As previously stated, there's not much to them so nearly any brand will suffice.

Since this is the beginner's corner - a word to the wise, if you reverse mount a lens it must have its own manual aperture control unless you plan on always using the lens wide open.

Actually, it's the opposite. Lenses w/o the ring are always stopped down all the way when not mounted to the camera in the conventional manner.
