Hi! Welcome to the Pentax Forums!
Your Tamron is an Adaptal-2 lens and with proper adapters can be fitted to many different camera bodies. There are two adapters that may be used with Pentax dSLR cameras:
- "For Pentax K, M" or "P/K" -- supports stop-down metering in M-mode, has an aperture scale on the mount
- "P/KA" -- has three electrical contacts on the mount face and offers full support for all exposure modes
A third K-mount adapter was also made that was intended for use on Ricoh program exposure cameras. I am not sure how that adapter is labeled ("Ricoh XR-P", I think), but it is potentially hazardous if mounted to an auto-focus Pentax body. Google "Ricoh Pin" for more information and how to identify the mount.
